В статье исследуются проблемы, связанные с последствиями четвертой промышленной революции, которые могут как привести к новым социальным рискам, так и существенно усугубить ныне существующие. На основе анализа таких последствий обосновывается необходимость принятия государством соответствующих правовых решений, предупреждающих умаление ранее предоставленных прав в сфере труда и социального обеспечения.
