Статья содержит сведения об истории и развитии корпусной лингвистики - одного из разделов современного языкознания, целью которого является создание и использование языковых корпусов в лингвистических исследованиях. Перечисляются основные корпусы разных языков, показываются возможности использования методов корпусной лингвистики при изучении иностранных языков, а также описывается вклад корпусной лингвистики в изучение юридической лексики. Авторы выражают свое мнение относительно места дисциплины и корпусов в системе языкознания и в ряду информационных технологий, наглядно показывают методы ее практического применения в преподавании английского языка в юридическом вузе.
The article contains basic information on the history and development of corpus linguistics - one of the sections of modern linguistics, the purpose of which is the creation and use of language corpora in linguistic research. The main corpora of different languages are listed, the possibilities of using the methods of corpus linguistics in the study of foreign languages are shown, and the contribution of corpus linguistics to the study of legal vocabulary is described. The authors express their opinion on the place of the discipline in the system of linguistic science and in a number of information technologies, visually show the methods of its practical application in the teaching of English in a law school.
