В статье затрагивается деятельность и полномочия американских и британских адвокатов в коммерческих агентствах по усыновлению детей, а также полномочия российских адвокатов в процессе усыновления детей в Российской Федерации. Проводится сравнительная характеристика указанных аспектов, а также ставится вопрос: какие органы - коммерческие за рубежом или государственные в Российской Федерации - больше отвечают правам и интересам детей.

The article dwells on the activity and powers of American and British lawyers in commercial organizations for adopting children as well as the powers of Russian lawyers in adoption of children in the Russian Federation. Also there are comparative characteristics of these aspects and there is subject in question, if commercial or public authorities are more responsive to the rights and interests of children.
